I’ve finally figured out a solid service offering...

I've not been in this position since selling sales funnel packages back in 2016.

Yes, that's 8 years of not feeling confident enough to sell services.

Sales funnel services, due to the rise of Clickfunnels, became highly crowded and a race to the bottom in 2016. So I pivoted to affiliate and sold the content site funnelengine.com the following year through a brokerage.

I didn't want to go back to selling SEO services, so in 2018 I launched the Flipping Websites podcast and facebook group and offered to partner with investors as the website operator. This received a lot of interest, and was around the time that Dominic Wells at Onfolio was doing the same thing.

But I didn't like the responsibility of updating something on a website and having wordpress break, or where I would be blamed for google updates that were out of my control.

So I sold Flipping Websites to Andrej Ilisin in 2019 and then went all in on newsletter businesses:

In 2020 I built and sold the Website Investing publication to Travis Jamison.

In 2022 I sold the Alts Cafe newsletter and Discord community to Blake Hutchison and joined Flippa for 6 months

I then moved on to build a network of newsletters which I sold to Scott Oldford in 2023.

And then this year I came across a community platform called Skool...

In Skool, I found a way to tie everything I had been doing together - sales funnels, newsletters and communities.

This personal newsletter now gets people into a paid Skool community (Patey Club) where I promote my high ticket funnel offering at monetize.community.

My Digital Asset Investor newsletter gets people into a free Skool community which generates leads for low cost ($750/m) productized services letteroperators.com and communityoperators.com.

These are simple, clean offers I'm now confident in delivering with my partner Maciej Marek, where the value is stacked towards efficiency (helping businesses make more money and save time) rather than information (teaching people why they need the service) - the classic Tropical MBA episode from back in the day.
